Name and Geographical Location
Dinh Noi Dong is located in Noi Dong Hamlet, Dai Thinh Commune, Me Linh District, Ha Noi City.

History and Figures
According to the sacred genealogical record (ngoc pha) of Noi Dong Commune, the communal house is dedicated to Cao Son and Quy Minh, who, according to legend, were two sons of Lac Long Quan and Au Co. They followed their mother Au Co into the mountains to open land and found villages. Cao Son’s given name was Nguyen Hien and Quy Minh’s given name was Nguyen Sung. The two lived in the time of the 18th Hung King (Hung Due Vuong) and rendered meritorious service, acting as virtuous ministers who helped the Hung king fight Thuc Phan.
Cao Son and Quy Minh are regarded as the two deities presiding on the left and right sides of the three Ba Vi peaks (Tan Vien in the middle, Cao Son on the left, Quy Minh on the right). Later, they were conferred the title of phuc than (benevolent tutelary deities); King Dinh Tien Hoang granted them the honorific titles Cao Son Linh Ung Dai Vuong and Quy Minh Linh Ung Dai Vuong.

The communal house was built during the Later Le period. In the 19th century, a rear sanctuary was added. The present architectural scale bears the imprint of a major restoration carried out in the Year Giap Than (1944).

Architectural Landscape
The communal house faces the southwest and lies within the main residential area of the village, amidst a neatly arranged architectural complex. The overall ground plan consists of a five-bay great ceremonial hall (dai bai) with two side lean-tos (di), and a three-bay rear sanctuary (hau cung), forming a “Dinh”-shaped layout. All architectural components are made of sturdy timber, with elaborate decorative carving on the wooden elements, featuring traditional motifs characteristic of Nguyen-dynasty architecture.

Relics
The communal house still preserves 8 imperial investiture decrees (sac phong), including 7 decrees from the Le dynasty and 5 from the Nguyen dynasty; 1 stone stele from the Nguyen period; 1 sacred genealogical manuscript (than pha); 1 worship throne (ngai tho); 1 eight-bearer palanquin (kieu bat cong); 1 pair of wooden cranes; and other ritual objects.

Classification
Dinh Noi Dong was classified in 1992 as a Municipal-level Historical and Cultural Relic.
