Chùa Thọ Tháp tọa lạc tại số 3, ngõ 37, phường Dịch Vọng, quận Cầu Giấy, thành phố Hà Nội.
Lịch sử và nhân vật
Chùa được xây dựng khoảng đầu thế kỷ XX, đến năm Bảo Đại thứ 18 (1943) được trùng tu, tôn tạo. Quy mô kiến trúc hiện nay là kết quả của lần trùng tu năm 1996 và năm 2010 với chất liệu bằng gỗ, vôi, phong cách kiến trúc truyền thống.
Kiến trúc cảnh quan
Chùa hiện nằm chung trong một quần thể di tích với đình Thọ Tháp. Chùa chính quay hướng Tây Nam, kiến trúc theo kiểu chữ “Đinh” gồm 5 gian tiền đường, 3 gian thượng điện theo kiểu “tường hồi bít đốc”, mái ngói ta. Bố cục không gian kiến trúc khá hoàn chỉnh gồm tam bảo, nhà Mẫu, nhà Tăng, nhà khách. Ngoài ra, chùa còn có nhà thờ Mẫu, nhà thờ Địa Tạng và khu tháp mộ. Hiện nay chùa đang khởi công xây dựng Tòa Tam Bảo mới, khang trang hơn.
Hiện vật
Hệ thống tượng thờ còn lưu giữ tại chùa có: Tam Thế Phật, Di Đà Tam Tôn, Phật bà nghìn tay nghìn mắt, và Cửu Long cùng các tượng Thích Ca sơ sinh và tượng hộ pháp. Những bộ tượng này đều được tạo tác công phu, sơn son thếp vàng, mỹ thuật đạt cao… tất cả đều được thể hiện một cách khéo léo, tỉ mỷ, vừa nghiêm trang vừa sinh động. Ngoài ra, chùa còn lưu giữ nhiều di vật quý khác như 1 quả khánh đồng thời Nguyễn, 2 bia đá niên đại thời Bảo Đại, 1 quả chuông đồng đúc năm 1952, 2 cuốn sổ, 5 bức hoành phi nghệ thuật thế kỷ XIX. Các hiện vật còn lại có niên đại nghệ thuật ở thế kỷ XX.

The pagoda was built around the early 20th century. In the 18th year of Bao Dai’s reign (1943), it was restored and embellished. The current architectural scale is the result of renovations in 1996 and 2010, constructed with wood and lime, following traditional architectural styles.
Architecture and Landscape
The pagoda currently stands within the same relic complex as Tho Thap Communal House. The main pagoda faces the southwest and is built in the “Dinh”-shaped structure, consisting of a five-bay front hall and a three-bay upper hall in the “closed-gable” (tuong hoi bit doc) style, roofed with traditional tiles. The spatial composition is fairly complete, including the Tam Bao (main sanctuary), the Mother Goddess Hall, monks’ quarters, and guest house. Additionally, the pagoda houses the Mother Goddess Temple, Ksitigarbha Hall, and a stupa complex. At present, construction is underway for a new and more spacious Tam Bao hall.
Relics
The system of worshipped statues preserved in the pagoda includes: the Three Worlds Buddhas (Tam The Phat), the Amitabha Trinity (Di Da Tam Ton), the Thousand-Armed, Thousand-Eyed Avalokitesvara (Phat Ba Nghin Tay Nghin Mat), the Nine Dragons, along with statues of the Infant Shakyamuni and Dharma Guardians. These statues are elaborately crafted, gilded, and lacquered, displaying both solemnity and vividness with meticulous artistry.
Other valuable relics preserved at the pagoda include: one bronze khanh (musical gong) from the Nguyen dynasty, two stone steles from the Bao Dai era, one bronze bell cast in 1952, two ancient books, and five artistic hoanh phi (horizontal lacquered boards) from the 19th century. Other artifacts date to the 20th century.
Recognition
In 2008, Tho Thap Pagoda was recognized as a City-level Historical and Architectural Relic.

La pagode fait aujourd’hui partie d’un ensemble patrimonial comprenant également le đình Tho Thap. Le bâtiment principal est orienté au sud-ouest et adopte une structure en forme de “Dinh”, composée d’un pavillon antérieur de cinq travées et d’un sanctuaire supérieur de trois travées, construit dans le style “murs latéraux fermés”, avec un toit de tuiles traditionnelles vietnamiennes. La composition spatiale est assez complète, comprenant le Tam Bao (sanctuaire principal), la maison de la Déesse-Mère, les quartiers des moines et une maison des invités. En outre, la pagode possède un temple de la Déesse-Mère, une salle de Ksitigarbha et un espace de stupas funéraires. Actuellement, un nouveau bâtiment du Tam Bao plus spacieux est en construction.
Objets conservés
