Tượng Văn Thù được thể hiện dưới hình thức ngồi co chân trái, chân phải thả xuống để trần, tay phải cầm chuỗi hạt tràng đặt lên đầu gối, tay trái giơ lên theo lối tả sống động. Ngực tượng đeo dây Anh Lạc, ức nịt hình lá sen, chiếc áo cà sa được khoác trên bờ vai để tà áo chảy dài xuống chân. Có thể nói rằng đây là hai khối tượng kim loại đẹp hiếm thấy trong nghệ thuật đúc tượng cổ Việt Nam thế kỷ XIX.

Khác biệt với các chùa khác thường làm tượng Thích Ca Cửu Long, quần cộc, giơ tay thẳng lên đầu, pho tượng Thích Ca Cửu Long tại chùa Châu Long giơ tay trái ngang ngực, áo mặc kín mít, được làm bằng gỗ và được chạm trổ tinh tế với các hình rồng, tạo ra nét độc đáo riêng trong hệ thống tượng của Phật điện.

Geographical Location:

Phuc Lam Pagoda is located at 120 Yen Phu Street, Nguyen Trung Truc Ward, Ba Dinh District, Hanoi.

Architecture:

Regarding the architectural space of the pagoda, it currently includes 5 front halls, 3 rear halls, 8 ornately carved golden bellied swing doors, a set of 23 worship statues, worship tools, horizontal lacquer boards, couplets, and bronze bells, all of which have high artistic value.

Some notable statues include the statue of Van Thu riding a green lion and the statue of Pho Hien riding a white elephant, both of which are rare bronze statues.

The statue of Van Thu is depicted in a seated posture with the left leg crossed, the right leg hanging down gracefully, the right hand holding a string of prayer beads placed on the knee, and the left hand raised in a lively and realistic manner. The statue’s chest is adorned with An Lac beads, a waistband with lotus leaf patterns, and a robe draped over the shoulders flowing down to the feet. It can be said that these are two rare and beautiful metal statues in the ancient bronze sculpture art of Vietnam in the 19th century.

In contrast to other temples that often depict Thich Ca Cuu Long with straight arms and a raised hand to the head, the statue of Thich Ca Cuu Long at Chau Long Pagoda has the left hand horizontally across the chest, wearing a modest robe, made of wood, intricately carved with dragon patterns, creating a unique characteristic of the statue system in Buddhist temples.

Additionally, the pagoda also has a statue of Shakyamuni Buddha over 3 meters high, covered in compacted earth, a bronze statue of Di Lac, and 10 statues of Yama Kings with beautiful artistic features.

A special feature is that the pagoda also has a bronze bell transferred from Vinh Phuc Pagoda. This bronze bell attracts the attention of visitors as soon as they step into the pagoda.

In addition to the three-jewel tower honoring Buddha, the pagoda also has a shrine to the Mother with 3 statues of Tam Phu, 3 statues of Quan Hoang, a statue of Ba Chua Thuong Ngan, a statue of Master Bodhidharma, and a statue of Avalokiteshvara.

Furthermore, there are ancestral halls, kitchens, and monk’s quarters….

Emplacement Géographique:

La pagode Phuc Lam est située au 120 rue Yen Phu, quartier Nguyen Trung Truc, arrondissement Ba Dinh, Hanoi.

Architecture:
