Giới thiệu
Chùa Giác Hoàng thành lập là nơi cho tăng, ni và các hành giả tu học Phật pháp, đáp ứng những nhu cầu tín ngưỡng tâm linh của tín đồ Phật tử. Chùa tọa lạc tại địa chỉ 01 Nguyễn Thị Minh Khai, TT. Bình Định, An Nhơn, Bình Định.
Lược sử
Chùa Giác Hoàng là ngôi chùa có lịch sử ra đời hơn trăm năm tuổi. Năm 2015 kỷ niệm 100 năm ngày khai sơn ngôi chùa. Kiến trúc chùa Giác Hoàng hiện nay vừa mang dấu ấn cổ điển và hiện đại.
Từ khi được thành lập đến nay chùa gắn liền với tên tuổi của Hòa thượng Thích Tịnh Nhãn (1948 -2013). Vốn có túc duyên với Phật pháp, nên năm lên 9 tuổi, Hòa thượng được phép song thân, xuất gia đầu sư với Hòa thượng Bửu Tịnh, Viện chủ chùa Giác Hoàng, Bình Định.
Từ khi Ngài nhận trách nhiệm trụ trì, tiếp nối Tổ nghiệp, truyền trì mạng mạch Phật pháp, Ngài luôn canh cánh bên lòng, nuôi dưỡng hoài bão kiến thiết xây dựng các hạng mục của chùa Giác Hoàng. Hoài bão ấy Ngài đã thực hiện như:
Năm 2005, xây dựng Tăng xá làm nơi cư trú cho Chư Tăng Bổn tự. Năm 2008 – 2010, xây dựng mới toàn bộ Tổ đường khang trang, làm nơi phụng thờ Lịch Đại Tổ Sư, và Chư hương Linh quá cố của Bổn tự. Xây dựng một Trai Đường rộng thoáng có nơi sử dụng cho Chư Tăng và Phật tử vào các ngày kỵ giỗ của chùa. Năm 2011, xây dựng đông đường để có nơi mở khóa tu Bát Quán Trai và Chánh niệm cho Phật tử hàng tháng. Nới rộng thêm Đông Đường, xây dựng nhà Trù, tháp Chuông. Đồng thời, dự kiến tương lai sẽ xây dựng một Đại Giảng Đường làm nơi tu tập và sinh hoạt cho Chư Tăng và Thiện tín Phật tử tại địa phương. Năm 2015, ngôi chùa Giác Hoàng được tròn 100 năm tuổi, tổ chức Lễ Kỷ Niệm Long trọng để ghi dấu vào trang lịch sử Phật giáo các tự viện tỉnh nhà. Sau đó, Đại Trùng Tu công trình cuối cùng đó là ngôi Đại Hùng Bảo Điện cho thật nghiêm trang.Sở dĩ, Ngài chưa vội trùng tu ngôi Đại Hùng Bảo Điện là để Kỷ niệm cho ngày Tưởng niệm trăm năm tuổi ngôi cổ Giác Hoàng.
Kiến trúc
Kiến trúc và thờ phụng là nét đẹp văn hóa tinh thần của Phật giáo. Nó biểu lộ tâm tư tình cảm và lòng tôn kính đối với Tam bảo. Kiến trúc biểu lộ những tinh hoa của dân tộc và giới thiệu những nét đặc trưng của Phật giáo. Cho nên, ngôi già lam uy nghi, hoành tráng, đồ sộ biểu lộ qua kiến trúc và thờ phượng.
Chùa Giác Hoàng có kiến trúc như sau: từ ngoài vào là cổng tam quan, bên trái là tòa chính điện với điểm nổi bật đó là tháp hoa sen 5 tầng, đặc biệt trên đỉnh tháp có tôn trí 4 bức tượng Phât quay nhìn 4 hướng.

Giac Hoang Pagoda, located at 01 Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, Binh Dinh town, An Nhon district, Binh Dinh province, was established to meet the needs for Buddhist study and spiritual beliefs of monks and Buddhists. The pagoda has a history of more than one hundred years, celebrating its centenary in 2015. Since its establishment, the pagoda has been closely associated with the name of Venerable Thich Tinh Nhan (1948-2013), who became a monk at the age of 9 under the guidance of Venerable Buu Tinh, the abbot of Giac Hoang Pagoda.
Venerable Thich Tinh Nhan endeavored to build and develop the pagoda through various stages. In 2005, he built the monks’ residence as a place for monks to live. From 2008 to 2010, the Venerable built a new and spacious Ancestral Hall to worship the Ancestors and deceased souls. In 2011, he built the East Hall to organize monthly Bat Quan Trai and Mindfulness retreats, and expanded the East Hall, built the kitchen, bell tower, and planned to construct a Great Lecture Hall for local monks and Buddhists.
The architecture of Giac Hoang Pagoda combines both classical and modern elements, reflecting the reverence for the Three Jewels and the essence of Buddhist culture. From the triple-arched gate outside, the pagoda leads to the main hall highlighted by a five-story lotus tower, with four Buddha statues facing four directions on top. The architecture and worship at the pagoda not only represent the spiritual and cultural beauty but also express the sentiments, emotions, and reverence towards Buddhism, contributing to the introduction of Buddhist characteristics to the community. In 2015, on the occasion of its 100th anniversary, the pagoda held a grand Celebration and renovated the Dai Hung Bao Dien to mark a milestone in the Buddhist history of Binh Dinh province.

觉皇寺，位于平定省安仁县平定镇阮氏明开街01号，是为了满足僧尼和佛教徒的佛法修行和精神信仰需求而建立的。该寺已有一百多年的历史，于2015年庆祝了成立一百周年。自成立以来，该寺一直与释净眼法师（1948-2013）的名字密切相关，他在9岁时在觉皇寺住持保净法师的指导下出家。

La pagode Giac Hoang, située au 01 Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, dans la ville de Binh Dinh, district d’An Nhon, province de Binh Dinh, a été fondée pour répondre aux besoins d’étude bouddhiste et de croyances spirituelles des moines et des bouddhistes. La pagode a une histoire de plus de cent ans, célébrant son centenaire en 2015. Depuis sa création, la pagode est étroitement associée au nom du Vénérable Thich Tinh Nhan (1948-2013), qui est devenu moine à l’âge de 9 ans sous la direction du Vénérable Buu Tinh, l’abbé de la pagode Giac Hoang.
Le Vénérable Thich Tinh Nhan s’est efforcé de construire et de développer la pagode à travers différentes étapes. En 2005, il a construit la résidence des moines comme lieu de vie pour les moines. De 2008 à 2010, le Vénérable a construit un nouveau Hall des Ancêtres spacieux pour vénérer les Ancêtres et les âmes défuntes. En 2011, il a construit l’aile Est pour organiser des retraites mensuelles de Bat Quan Trai et de Pleine Conscience, et a agrandi l’aile Est, construit la cuisine, le clocher et prévu de construire une Grande Salle de Conférences pour les moines et les bouddhistes locaux.
L’architecture de la pagode Giac Hoang combine des éléments classiques et modernes, reflétant la révérence pour les Trois Joyaux et l’essence de la culture bouddhiste. Depuis la porte à triple arche extérieure, la pagode mène au hall principal mis en valeur par une tour de lotus à cinq étages, avec quatre statues de Bouddha tournées vers les quatre directions au sommet. L’architecture et le culte à la pagode représentent non seulement la beauté spirituelle et culturelle, mais aussi les sentiments, les émotions et la révérence envers le bouddhisme, contribuant à introduire les caractéristiques bouddhistes à la communauté. En 2015, à l’occasion de son centenaire, la pagode a organisé une grande Célébration et rénové le Dai Hung Bao Dien pour marquer une étape importante dans l’histoire bouddhiste de la province de Binh Dinh.
